Bombarded as we are by sometimes conflicting information, we decided to take our own path and make a contribution ourselves to try to improve the state of the art; we are certainly not in a position to subvert the order of things on our own, but we believe that common sense, a clear vision and constant commitment can be a serious way of dealing with the issue.
We got together and shared a series of thoughts, the idea of a manifesto was born, as a declaration of intent by points declined on the activities of the typography that will automatically become a guide for daily activities, good practices and medium-term actions to which all in Tipografia Altedo we will refer.

Separate waste to maximize recycling process.
DESIGN RESPONSIBILY
Focus on materials, techniques and optimization of production formats.
OPTIMIZE TRIPS AND DELIVERS
Avoid them when possible, accumulate more stops at once, use public transport, use hybrid or fuel electric vehicles.
SHORTEN THE SUPPLY CHAIN
Evaluate suppliers also on the basis of distance and if possible prefer those within a certain radius, where possible merge the processes.
BUY RESPONSIBLY
Choose raw materials from certified companies Las evaluating the impact of transport, the first choice must always fall on natural products, recycled and always certified (FSC). Always look for alternative materials to plastic.
SMALL DAILY ACTIONS
Turn off the lights, reduce the use of air conditioner, drink tap water from the thermal bottle, turn off computers, do not waste drinking water.

The use of green inks, FSC certified or totally recycled paper and print media, allows to obtain good results in terms of reducing the environmental impact.
